AB The Oak Tree Centre (Women and Family HIV Care Project) is designed to
address the needs of women, youth, children and families affected by HIV
infection in British Columbia. It is a conjoint project of the Women's
Health Centre and British Columbia's Children's Hospital. Community
involvement and the participation of individuals living with HIV
infection continue to be vital components of the project. The ultimate
goal is to enhance clinical and psychosocial care, and education,
research and prevention initiatives for HIV-infected women, youth,
children and families in British Columbia.
